Superdry revenues drop 11.3%

In its latest pre-close trading update for the 26 weeks to October 26, 2019, Superdry posted an 11.3% fall in group revenue to £376.8 million.

The clothing retailer also saw a fall in sales across all its channels. A 11.7% fall to £157.3 million was registered for its store revenues, e-commerce was down 10.5% to £57.9 million and retail sales were down 9.4%.

On the current performance, Chief executive Julian Dunkerton at Superdry, said: “We are making good progress with the start to our turnaround plan for Superdry, returning the business to its design-led roots. We have always said it will take time, but we have a strong team which is working incredibly hard to deliver this plan.”
