Already live in 57 stores across the UK, Primark is set to introduce its click-and-collect service to a further 54 stores this autumn. The range of products available for click-and-collect has also expanded to include menswear and homewares alongside womenswear and kidswear. Shoppers can find the full range on the Primark website to check product availability before heading to a store.

Mintel comment:

“Some 30% of online shoppers have received their online purchases via click-and-collect to a retailer’s store in the past year (see Mintel’s upcoming Online Retailing: Delivery, Collection & Returns Report - UK, 2024). Primark is responding to this trend by expanding its click-and-collect services, adding homewares and menswear as it increases the service to more stores ahead of Christmas. Following Primark’s announcement in April 2024 to roll out click-and-collect services to all UK locations by the end of 2025, shoppers will have greater accessibility to a wider range of products.

Convenience and flexibility are crucial in delivery methods, particularly collection, with 78% of online shoppers selecting this option based on what best fits their schedules (see Mintel’s upcoming Online Retailing: Delivery, Collection & Returns Report- UK, 2024). Primark’s click-and-collect service not only provides shoppers with added convenience, but also the opportunity to order items beyond their local store’s selection.”
