EG Group revenues increase 25.1% thanks to new foodservice outlets

For the three months to March 31, 2022, the EG Group posted a 2% increase in Ebitda to $270 million while revenues grew 25.1% to $6.9 billion. The group highlighted the performance of its foodservice outlets which increased gross profit by 54% year-on-year to $175 million and was up 20% on a like-for-like basis.

The group opened 26 new foodservice outlets in the period across the world-21 of which were launched in the UK and Republic of Ireland-including Subway, Greggs and Cinnabon and Sbarro sites.
