Hotter has reported a strong half year period and a particularly successful Black Friday. For the six month period to the end of July the company announced revenues of £25 million and an EBITDA of £2.5 million. For Black Friday sales were up 10% against last year’s performance.

The retailer attributed some of its growth to a £2 million investment it made in direct-to-consumer online retailing. Its online channel now accounts for 65% of total sales. Ian Watson, chief executive, said that the trading was “strong and extremely pleasing”.
