Following the successful reopening of an initial six stores when Scotland exited COVID-19 lockdown at the end of June 2020, Debenhams will reopen nine remaining stores in the country beginning next week.

The department store has already reopened the vast majority of its stores in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Debenhams operated from around 144 stores. Since then it has confirmed that 20 stores would not reopen after it entered administration for a second time.
