New strategy drives Christmas boost for Crew Clothing

For the eight weeks to January 5, Crew Clothing posted a 4% increase for its store like for like sales while online sales increased by 18%.

CEO David Butler attributed the strong Christmas sales to the brands new strategy: “Regular new lines, the introduction of a transitional range and a competitive markdown strategy has boosted sales over the period. Together this has contributed to one of the business’s best years in its 27-year history.”
