Mountain Warehouse is set to open 50 new stores in the UK and internationally, bringing its total to around 370 stores across nine countries. This move comes as the retailer saw sales surge to a record £386 million in the year to 25 February 2024, driven by the strong performance of its stores. Store sales climbed by 7.1% over the last year, bolstered by the new openings. The retailer also made a pre-tax profit of £26.2 million, compared with a loss of £1.5 million the year prior when it was affected by Covid-19 costs.
