Morrisons is set to pull back the number of self-checkouts across 20 of its stores as boss Rami Baitiéh admitted the supermarket “went a bit too far” with self-checkouts as it looks to pull back on the technology.
Baitiéh also said shoplifting had also been more prominent at its self-checkout tills.
