Douglas Group posts Q3 sales growth raising full-year forecast

For the first nine months of its financial year, Douglas posted an 8.7% increase in group sales to €3.5 billion. Store sales grew by 8.2%, with like-for-like growth of 7.4%, and ecommerce sales were up by 9.8%, with like-for-like growth of 11.9%. EBITDA increased by 11.5% to €657.1 million. The retailer opened 38 new stores and refurbished 69 existing ones. 19 stores were closed in the same period, including six franchise stores.

Looking ahead, Douglas expects full-year net sales to grow by around 8.5%. The group is on track to deliver its mid-term earnings guidance, with an expected adjusted EBITDA margin of around 18.5%.
