For the year ending 27 January 2024, Seasalt reported a pre-tax profit of £6.8 million, up from £470,681 the previous year, when the retailer experienced a “significant” increase in inbound freight and container rates that impacted its margins. Sales rose by 12% to £132.6 million, which Seasalt attributed to a 10% increase in store sales during the period.

The retailer stated that customers spent “significantly more” per visit, which “belies the pressures that have been experienced more broadly in the retail sector and the business landscape recently.” Seasalt expanded its total store estate in the UK and Ireland to 73. Seasalt saw "modest" sales growth in its online channel compared to the previous year, as shoppers returned to the high street.
