Deckers Brands reports 22.1% uptick in sales in the first quarter

For its first quarter ended 30 June 2024, Deckers Brands posted a 22.1% increase in sales to $825.3 million. Direct-to-consumer sales grew by 24% to $310.6 million, while wholesale net sales increased by 21% to $514.8 million. By region, US sales rose by 23% to $515.9 million, while international net sales increased by 20.8% to $309.5 million. By brand, Ugg's revenue increased by 14% to $223 million, while Hoka's revenue climbed by 29.7% to $545.2 million. These gains offset a 4.3% decline in revenue at Teva and a 28.4% decline at Sanuk. The 'other brands' segment, which primarily consists of Koolaburra's revenue, surged by 123.5% to $4.0 million.

For the full year, Deckers Brands expects net sales to increase by approximately 10% to $4.7 billion.
