In the 52 weeks to 31 July 2023, The White Company reported a 4% year-on-year increase in underlying group operating profit, reaching £33.5 million. However, its overall group operating profit fell 3% to £31.9 million after taking into account the fair value movements on foreign exchange contracts and exceptional items. The group turnover rose by 4% to £289.3 million, which the retailer stated was a positive outcome amidst the challenging economic conditions.

The retailer credited a strong store performance for its sales, but mentioned this was partially at the expense of online trade. Its store estate has been expanding, with the group opening a new store in Glasgow and a second small-format trial in Marlborough.
