THG reported strong sales growth in its first quarter of 2024, with total sales up 0.3% on a continuing basis, reaching £459.9 million. THG Beauty sales jumped 11.1%, driven by a “notably strong” performance in the UK. The addition of US brand Biossance to its portfolio was hailed as having the potential to “scale to become one of our largest own brands” after early “positive” signs.

The group maintains its guidance for the year as it expects sales to grow between 2% and 5% on an ongoing basis.
