Dr. Martens' has launched a new Genix Nappa range made of recycled leather. The range aims to tackle waste by rescuing leather offcuts that would otherwise have been destined for landfill. The footwear specialist partnered with Gen Phoenix, the sustainable recycled leather company whose technology breaks waste leather down to the fibre level and then uses the power of recycled water to rebuild it into premium and durable recycled materials. Its Genix Nappa material contains over 50% waste leather.

The launch of the range follows its strategic investment in Gen Phoenix in 2023.
