Frasers Group has appointed administrators Michael Lennon and Benjamin Wiles of Kroll Advisory to both Base Childrenswear and Kids Cavern. Base Childrenswear operates from four stores in Westfield London, Westfield Stratford, Bluewater and Birmingham, all of which have been rebranded as Flannels Junior since last summer. Kids Cavern has three stores in Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle, with the Manchester location trading as Flannels Junior.

Closing down sales have commenced in all seven stores, with around 50 staff members at risk of redundancy.
