Gopuff has extended its services to include 24/7 deliveries as the popularity of late-night orders on the app rises. The services will be rolled out in Liverpool and Newcastle, and will start this week as late-night orders on the app see a 35% increase. Previously Gopuff services ended at 2am.

As Whoosh, Zoom, and other services have expanded in the market, they have taken large chunks of fuller-basket grocery demand. This has left smaller top-up and distress-style shops in the domain of services like GoPuff, mirroring the trend within the convenience sector where baskets and missions differ significantly, for example, between Express and Best One.
Late-night demand has been critical to the success of the likes of Deliveroo and UberEats, and by addressing a discovered need, GoPuff can further carve out a niche in an increasingly competitive but well-engaged element of the online grocery sector, with 25% of online grocery shoppers typically using rapid delivery services.”
