Retail property owner Hammerson has been forced to receive government support to help it navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. Just 16% of the shopping centre group’s tenants paid their rent in June 2020.
Hammerson owns the Bullring and Brent Cross shopping centres. The retail property group is valued at £537 million.
