B&Q owner Kingfisher sales rise thanks to “strong demand”

DIY group Kingfisher, owner of B&Q and Screwfix, posted a 21.6% increase in like-for-like sales in the 3 months to 18 July 2020. However, during the wider 6-month period, like-for-like sales fell 3.7%.
Kingfisher said sales in the second quarter (3 months to 18 July 2020) had been boosted by “strong demand” across its EU markets and ecommerce.
