Value retailer Poundland has announced a transformation of the company that will include its first foray into home delivery. The transformation also involves revamping its store estate and segmenting stores into three categories ‘destination’, ‘core’ and ‘convenience’. Other changes include new chilled and frozen ranges, as well as new price points above £1.

Poundland said that the changes had been made to bring customers greater choice and value whilst supporting the high street after the COVID-19 pandemic.
