Deliveroo has announced two new solutions for people who are self-isolating due to the coronavirus. One of the measures includes a deal with Marks & Spencer which will enable customers to order around 60 products from 120 M&S franchised stores. Products will include milk, bread, juices, pizzas and ready meals. No delivery charge will be applied for these orders and the deal is similar to the nationwide partnership with the Co-op, which allows shoppers to order groceries from 400 stores.

In addition to the M&S collaboration, Deliveroo has alsollaunched the “Essentials by Deliveroo” service. With this service shoppers will be able to order from a range of food and household essentials like cereal, pasta, rice, sweets, biscuits, soft drinks, juices, tinned and canned goods. The launch follows a successful trial in Cambridge and is set to be introduced to Reading, Brighton, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds and London over the next two weeks.
