Instagram expands in-app shopping feature to small businesses and individual creators

Small businesses wanting to sell products through Instagram’s in-app Shopping feature will now be able to do so as long as they meet the photo and video-sharing social networking’s new ‘Commerce Eligibility Requirements’ guidelines.

The new guidelines require small business to have a verifiable presence and products being sold via the app must also be present through a single, main e-commerce site which the seller owns and sells from. Sellers must also have clear selling, refund and return policies.
