Marks & Spencer is rolling out its scan-and-go technology to another 210 stores, up from 100, enabling customers to pay for goods with their smartphone without visiting the till. Expansion of its Mobile Pay Go technology is being fuelled by the shift towards contact-free payment amid the COVID-19 crisis.

The technology has largely been focused in and around London up until now. Shoppers in Aberystwyth, Belfast, Dover and Falkirk will now have access to Mobile Pay Go.
