Retail giant Carrefour announced an extension of its collaboration with Uber Eats regarding the shopping platform introduced on 6 April. The service originally covered the Paris region, with deliveries within 30 minutes from around 15 Carrefour stores, and was rolled out to 100 stores by the end of April, 200 in early June and 300 in the beginning of July.

The service is planned to be launched in Belgium in September, with its introduction to Brussels and Liège, covering both grocery delivery and meal solutions. Carrefour also operates an Uber Eats partnership in Taiwan, which was rolled out at the end of 2019 and covers eight cities.
