Card Factory revenues exceed expectations

Greetings card and gifting retailer Card Factory like-for-like sales are down 21.6% year-on-year since its stores began reopening on 15 June, after COVID-19 lockdown restrictions were relaxed. The retailer had been expecting sales to slump by 50%.

Card Factory expects revenue for the first half of its financial year, covering the six months to 31 July to come in at around £100 million, a-near 50% drop on last year’s £195.6 million.
