Hammersmith & Fulham borough council have approved Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s proposal to convert two-thirds of Westfield London's House of Fraser store into office space, as part of a wider strategy to provide more mixed-use experiences at the shopping centre.

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s proposes to redevelop the 104,000 sq ft House of Fraser site into 68,000 sq ft of flexible office space and 32,000 sq ft of retail space across two units. Another anchor within the shopping centre, Debenhams did not reopen after lockdown as part of an administration process, after Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield refused to give it another round of rent reductions. That site has now been converted into a temporary Harrods outlet store.
