Smartphones – Comprises cell phones, typically with a touchscreen interface, that perform many of the functions of a computer: they have Internet access and an operating system capable of running multiple downloaded apps.

Standard cell phones – These comprise cell phones with functionality usually limited to calls and text messaging.

Excluded from this report are the following: notebook computers, tablets, walkie talkies and two-way radios.
