![]() Food & Drink Analyst About Sydney OlsonSydney Olson joined Mintel in 2021 following five years of experience in the CPG advertising and marketing industry. In her current role as a food and drink analyst, Sydney uncovers and examines the consumer attitudes and behaviors that fuel today’s industry trends and innovation. Prior to joining Mintel, Sydney worked as an Account Strategist for a shopper marketing agency where her research and insights helped to inform retail-centric programs and promotions for a range of categories and household brand names including confection (Nutella, Tic Tac), Alcohol Beverage (Jose Cuervo, Truly Hard Seltzer) and OTC/Health (Aleve, Coppertone). As an amateur home cook, aspiring food photographer and Trader Joe's enthusiast, Sydney’s interest in food and drink exploration and content creation runs deep. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Journalism – Strategic Communications degree with a minor in psychology from the University of Missouri.
