Responsibilities

  • Implements and thoroughly tests interfaces and ensures integrity within the company’s websites
  • Establishes and maintains best practice standards for content design, user interface and accessibility
  • Develops engaging websites and online marketing tools incl. promotions
  • Creates well structured CSS driven XHTML pages
  • Proactively interacts with editorial/research, product development, sales and other key internal departments.
  • Maintains constant knowledge and awareness of developments (technical and otherwise) in the industry in order to keep the company aware of changes/developments
  • Maintains high levels of awareness of the company and its products in order to recommend new ideas for the company’s web applications and internet presence
Required Skills / Abilities
  • Extensive experience with web application design
  • Strong ability to develop highly intuitive and usable interfaces
  • Demonstrable creative design skills
  • Demonstrable understanding of presentation of numeric and editorial data
  • Excellent communication (verbal and presentational) interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional work ethic and activity rate
