Spar International has reported an uplift in global sales, which rose 5.4% on a constant currency basis to €35.8 billion for its financial year 2018.

This represents the third consecutive year of strong sales growth for the group, which now operates over 13,112 stores in 48 countries worldwide.

Ongoing growth has followed the launch of Spar’s ‘Better Together’ strategy in 2016, providing a platform to build for the organisation, its partners and customers in the future.
