The British Beer & Pub Association is the principal trade association for the beer and pub industry. Through its members it represents over 98% of UK beer production and the ownership of around 30,000 pubs, about half of the public houses currently licensed.
The Association’s principal functions are to represent the beer and pub industry when dealing with Government and government bodies in both the UK and EU, and to protect the commercial freedom of its members. For these purposes, British Beer & Pub Association maintains regular contact and dialogue with organisations and groups associated with the beer and pub industry, and those with interests in the hospitality/leisure industry as a whole.
